There were three trialists in the United defence, but it was the United attack that won the day with a hat-trick from Lewis Walters and one each from Monty Gimpel, Luke Parkin and Charlie Clamp. While there was a full game for each of the trialists, Eric Grimes replaced Alex Cairns in goal, Sanchez Payne replaced Lewis Turner at right-back, Jordan Snodin came on for Charlie Taylor on the left side of midfield, Simon Lenighan replaced Nathan Turner, Monty Gimpel replaced Alex Mowattt and Charlie Clamp replaced Luke Parkin.
